I want to feel safe when I watch a movie. That’s why I am now watching movies at home, instead of going to a theater.  When I go to the theater, I am a target. I need to feel safe to spend my money. I want to relax to enjoy the movie without fear of some crazy gun-toting person with a plan. I don’t want anyone murdered for going to the movies ever again. That is why I am boycotting movie theaters.

2 killed and 9 injured a few days ago in Lafayette, Louisiana. 12 killed  and 60 injured in Aurora, Colorado.  There will be another, unless we act to prevent it.

Boycotting cinemas and movie theaters would attract attention, and hurt profits (another attention getter).  When all states or the national government pass a Movie-goer Protection Act, henceforth anyone buying a gun will have to wait for a license, until a thorough background check was completed and  passed, and the purchaser bought an insurance policy to cover liability  in case that gun was stolen, used in a crime, or injured or killed someone (like a toddler).

We have the power; boycotting the movies is an easy thing to do these days, of streaming movie services.

My right to be safe in public trumps your belief that you need a killing machine.
